Stewards spoke to Mr Shaun Coulson, the representative of Ursula Allen, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ursula Allen last raced on 22 Mar 2018. Mr Coulson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a toe injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr Pieter Smoor, the trainer of Aye Drainer regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Aye Drainer last raced on 8 Mar 2018. Mr Smoor stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hock injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Thomeli Rocker.
Kraken Roger and Aye Drainer were slow to begin. Falconetti, Thomeli Rocker and Ursula Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Falconetti.
