Stewards spoke to Mr D. Willcocks the trainer of Terrigal Tornado and issued him with a warning after he failed to properly check the clearance to leave course form, which resulted in Mr Willcocks removing Terrigal Tornado from the kennels and leaving the course without Stewards permission.  Stewards contacted Mr Willcocks and directed that he return to the course with the greyhound.

Terrigal Tornado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right deltoid soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Exhibition Trial: - Buckle Up Rose trialled over the 515mtrs from box 5, weight 25.0kgs. The time of the trial was 1st split (5.18), 2nd split (29.28), overall time (29.947). A post-race sample was taken from the greyhound.

Shanlyn Georgie was quick to begin.  Crackerjack Skip was slow to begin.

Sketchy Skinny and Cut Footluce collided soon after the start.  Dr. Abbie and Bourbski Bar collided on the first turn.  Cut Footluce and Crackerjack Skip collided on the first turn.  Grey Ghost crossed out on the first turn.  Dr. Abbie and Sarah Smirnoff collided entering the back straight.  Cut Footluce and Bourbski Bar collided in the back straight.

Mighty Hazza was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, right chest muscle and right hip injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
