Stewards spoke to Mr Robin Moore, the trainer of Little Miss VIP, regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.
Crymelon You Cro was quick to begin. Underrated was very slow to begin (4L). Fifteen Wheeler crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Lobster Hill, Little Miss VIP and Almani Tee Rex. Almani Tee Rex, Little Miss VIP, Underrated and Lobster Hill collided on the first turn, checking Almani Tee Rex. Little Miss VIP checked off Lobster Hill approaching the home turn. Crymelon You Cro, Fifteen Wheeler and Pyrenees Blaze collided in the home straight, checking Pyrenees Blaze.
A sample was taken from Little Miss VIP - third placegetter in the event.
Little Miss VIP, which fell in the catching pen, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
