Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Romagnino, the trainer of Hypo Chared regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Hypo Chared last raced on 26 April 2018. Mr.Romagnino stated that the greyhound was resuming from a back left toe injury.

Mr. D. Schwarz the trainer of Galloping Nikki declared a new weight of 23.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39.  Galloping Nikki last raced at 24.8kg.

How Goodesy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
