Blue Tornado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left front leg, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. G. Gieschen, the handler of Hello Sooty regarding the greyhound's boxing manners.

It's A Date and Stilton Storm were quick to begin.  Akina Error was slow to begin.  It's A Date and Stilton Storm collided approaching the first turn.  It's A Date and Aston Elvis collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  El Alegre galloped on Spolly's Flyer on the first turn.  Akina Error checked off Spolly's Flyer on the first turn checking El Alegre.  It's A Date clipped the heels of Akina Error approaching the home turn;  It's A Date checked off El Alegre as a result.  Spolly's Flyer and El Alegre collided in the home straight.

Secret Of Mine was slow to begin.  Cee Me Shine and Secret Of Mine collided on the first turn severely checking Cee Me Shine.  Secret Of Mine and Is All collided on the first turn.  Pinky Tuscadero checked off Lingua Franca on the first turn checking Secret Of Mine.

Rockin' Bar Lil was quick to begin.  Rockin' Bar Lil and Velocity Anifrid collided on the first turn checking Rockin' Bar Lil.  Greg's Prince and Rockin' Bar Lil collided on the first turn severely checking Spritely Mac.  Rockin' Bar Lil, Akina Cosmo and Savanah Sky collided on the first turn.  Spritely Mac and Wanjiro collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Greg's Prince, Akina Cosmo and Savanah Sky raced wide in the home straight.  Wanjiro and Spritely Mac collided approaching the winning post.

Tiggerlong Ray, Magic Maya, Duke Of Burnley and Arashundi were slow to begin.  Tiggerlong Ray and Ima Rockstar collided soon after the start.  Kokoda Bobby and Ima Rockstar collided on the first turn checking Ima Rockstar, Super Serena, Magic Maya and Tiggerlong Ray.  Magic Maya checked off Ima Rockstar approaching the home turn.  Tiggerlong Ray and Arashundi collided approaching the home turn.  Tiggerlong Ray and Ima Rockstar collided on the home turn.  Super Serena checked off Full Moon on the home turn checking Ima Rockstar.

Destini Trucker and Ima Ruby were quick to begin.  Enchanting Image and Totally Bullish collided on the first turn checking Totally Bullish.  Destini Trucker and Merchant Prince collided on the first turn.  Totally Bullish and Folding Green collided approaching the home turn.  Silvio Dante and Macalister Tiger crossed out on the home turn and raced wide in the home straight.

Velocity Whisper was quick to begin.  Our Delta Rose was slow to begin.  Soda King and Miss Dee Meadows collided soon after the start.  Lightwood Miss crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Velocity Whisper, Miss Dee Meadows and Taabinga Flash and severely checking Trey Smidge, Just Curious and Soda King.  Our Delta Rose crossed to the rail on the second turn checking Just Curious and Soda King.

This race was delayed by approximately one and a half minutes to hold for The Meadows greyhounds.

Crickets Dash and Aston Utah were quick to begin.  Flash Frankie stumbled at boxrise and was slow to begin.  Crickets Dash checked off Aston Utah approaching the first turn.  Flash Frankie and Blocka Boy collided approaching the home turn checking Blocka Boy.

A sample was taken from Beau Gem - the winner of the event.

Walkin' The Walk, Dyna Alice and Zipping Mulga were slow to begin.  Sapphire Power and Walkin' The Walk collided on the first turn.  Hannah Bear and Zipping Mulga collided approaching the home turn checking Zipping Mulga.  Sapphire Power and What's Up Skip collided approaching the home turn.  Dyna Gunner tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Dyna Gunner was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right front abraded paw, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Macauliff, Crossfire Icon and Spin The Trolley collided approaching the first turn checking Spin The Trolley.  Adonis Rose and Ohana Sparkles collided on the first turn checking Ohana Sparkles.  Macauliff and Crossfire Icon collided entering the back straight and again in the back straight checking Macauliff.  Ohana Sparkles and Dyna Penny collided approaching the home turn.  Adonis Rose and Benny's Entity collided several times from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight severely checking both greyhounds; Ohana Sparkles was checked as a result.

Lektra Guisseppe and Gene Man were slow to begin.  Phillip Keeping crossed in soon after the start checking Gene Man, Lektra Guiseppe, Sir Richard and Aston Hinkley.  Sir Richard and Lektra Guiseppe collided approaching the first turn.  Sir Richard checked off Lektra Guiseppe on the first turn.  Lektra Guiseppe checked off Aston Hinkley on the first turn.  Lektra Guiseppe and Gene Man collided on the home turn.  Sir Richard and Gene Man collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  Kazza Magoo raced wide in the home straight.

The numbers 1, 3, 5, 7 were inadvertantly semaphored and were amended to the correct placings 1, 3, 10, 5, prior to the All Clear being given.

Veetee Mist was slow to begin.  Belleperi Miss checked off Lonesome Katie approaching the first turn and crossed in on the first turn checking Lilty Allen, Snoop A Loop, Belleperi Miss and Veetee Mist.  Krabi checked off Lonesome Katie approaching the home turn.  Take Home Sadie and Lonesome Katie collided approaching the home turn.  Take Home Sadie and Belleperi Miss collided on the home turn.  Snoop A Loop and Lonesome Katie collided on the home turn.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Hallam, the representative of Jake Of Carson regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Jake Of Carson last raced on 18th October, 2017.  Mr. Hallam stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a stopper injury.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Jake Of Carson trialled over the 440m from box 8, weight 36.3kgs,  the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 25.15, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.50 lengths.   Jake Of Carson was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Heard It Before trialled over the 440m from box 1, weight 30.8kgs,  the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 5.  The time of the trial was 25.15,  the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 14.50 lengths.  Heard It Before was Cleared.
