Steward's Report
Coffee Scroll, Aston Ranza and Vandagambo were slow to begin.
Coffee Scroll and Drop The Leash collided soon after the start. Courting and Shanlyn George collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Drop The Leash and Aston Ranza collided on the first turn severely checking Aston Ranza and Shanlyn George. Courting and Shanlyn George collided on the second turn. Coffee Scroll severely checked off Drop The Leash on the second turn checking Aston Ranza and severely checking Vandagambo.
Coffee Scroll was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left and right deltoid injury, left and right trapezius soreness and right hip soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to Mrs L. Hellmuth, the representative of Coffee Scroll regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
