Track Curator Mr T. Godfrey advised stewards that the track was medium harrowed on 14 June 2019.

Diamond Lee were quick to begin.  Red On Black was slow to begin.

Aston Vino, Spark Joy and Bushranger Boy collided on the first turn.  Red On Black checked off Feelin' Hot approaching the home turn.  

A post-race blood sample was taken from Diamond Lee - winner of the event. 

Paganini and Miss Spolly were quick to begin.  Sonoma Icon was slow to begin.

Crowd Pleaser and Saw Blaze collided soon after the start.  Paganini checked off Miss Spolly approaching the first turn.  Zambora Tara and Paganini collided approaching the home turn.  

Sonoma Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A post-race blood sample was taken from Miss Spolly - winner of the event.

A sample was taken from Superior Kris upon arrival at the course.

Superior Kris and Knuckles were slow to begin.

Fiesty Girl and Knuckles collided approaching the first turn.  Superior Kris brushed the running rail on the first turn. Fab Senorita and Phoebe's Angel collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Fiesty Girl raced wide in the home straight.  

A post-race blood sample was taken from Rosie Cotton - winner of the event. 

Why Not Leo and Ally Opp Keats were quick to begin.

Alonso Power and Lucas Rose collided soon after the start checking Alonso Power.  Twenty Tamar and Ally Opp Keats collided on the first turn.  Lucas Rose and Destini Agitator collided on the first turn.  Twenty Tamar and Valhalla Girl collided in the home straight.

Flynn and Little Black Joe collided soon after the start.  Fairy Vixen, Flynn and Little Black Joe collided approaching the first turn.  Especial Shiraz, Fairy Vixen, Flynn and Little Black Joe collided on the first turn checking Flynn and Little Black Joe, causing Flynn to race wide.  Vivatar and Callum's Son collided on the second turn. Fairy Vixen and Flynn collided in the back straight.  

Little Black Joe – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Flynn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion the head and left front foot. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Gitcha Loaded was slow to begin.

Eight Ball, Charlie Haze and Spearhead collided soon after the start checking Charlie Haze.  Get It Gizmo, Lady Emerald and Newfire Chelle collided soon after the start.  Get It Gizmo, Lady Emerald, Dex's Affair and Newfire Chelle collided approaching the first turn.  Charlie Haze and Gitcha Loaded collided on the first turn checking Charlie Haze.  Charlie Haze and Gitcha Loaded collided on the third turn checking Gitcha Loaded.  

Gitcha Loaded underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Eight Ball - winner of the event.

Limerick Icon, Rock It Fernando and Black Signature were slow to begin.

Light The Track, Roger Express, Limerick Icon, Miss Dee Meadows, Rock It Fernando and Vital Force collided on the first turn checking Limerick Icon and Miss Dee Meadows.  Light The Track and Rock It Fernando collided on the second turn and again on the first turn. 

Staggerism was slow to begin.

Franki Jay and Almapa Sunshine collided approaching the first turn checking Almapa Sunshine.  Almapa Sunshine and Staggerism collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Kadalex Kid turned its head approaching the winning post.

Kadalex Kid underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Nibbs, the trainer of Kadalex Kid regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Kadalex Kid was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Nibbs pleaded not guilty to the charge, Kadalex Kid was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Max Tractor - winner of the event.

Western Envoy was slow to begin.

Newfire Drewie and Minter Bee Cash collided approaching the first turn.  Premier Sticka and He's For Me collided on the first turn.  Premier Sticka checked off Western Envoy on the second turn checking Premier Sticka and Minter Bee Cash.  He's For Me checked off Premier Sticka on the home turn.  Rodeo raced wide in the home straight.  

Why Not Hugh and Why Not Bazzar were quick to begin.

Voluptuous Blue and Ebonique collided soon after the start.  Iona Misty and Kel Knight collided on the first turn.  Why Not Hugh checked off Why Not Bazzar on the first turn.  Voluptuous Blue checked off Ebonique on the first turn.

Almapa Berisha underwent a post-race veterinary examination after a fall in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported. 

On Degoey and Salut Bianca were slow to begin.

Gypsy Kiowa, On Degoey and Farfalla Nera collided approaching the first turn.  Gypsy Kiowa contacted the running rail on the first turn.

Gypsy Kiowa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Shaina Cabang - winner of the event.

Ants In Pants was slow to begin.

Lost Blue, New Fire Girl and Searching collided soon after the start checking New Fire Girl.  Lost Blue and Searching collided approaching the first turn checking Lost Blue.  Searching and Kimani collided on the first turn checking Kimani.  Searching, Kimani and Ants In Pants collided approaching the home turn checking Kimani.

Lost Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examinationand was found to have a left triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Lost Blue - unplaced in the event.

MEETINGS COMMENTS:

The following greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 311mtrs with 4 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 17.87.

Tory's Rocket finished 1st, Kip Your Best finished 2nd, Easy Tash finished 3rd.

Easy Tash – Was stood down from racing at Cranbourne for fail to chase. Weighing 28.0kgs and beginning from box 1 beaten by 5 1/2 lengths. Easy Tash has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Kip Your Best – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for fail to chase, connections wish to apply blinkers to the greyhound.  Kip Your Best. Weighing 32.8kgs and beginning from box 7 beaten by 3 ¾ lengths. Kip Your Best has been cleared to race at all tracks except Warragul.

Tory's Rocket – Was stood down from racing at Healesville for turning in the box. Weighing 25.5kgs and beginning from box 8 winning by 3 3/4 lengths. Tory's Rocket has been cleared to race at all tracks except Healesville.
