La Caprice and Hounding Me collided soon after the start. Zanti Man crossed out soon after the start checking La Caprice and Hounding Me. Hope To Wyn and Just Harry collided several times from approaching the 300m mark to the 300m mark. Kuzma and Tex Ribs collided at the 200m mark checking Tex Ribs. Kuzma crossed out at the 150m mark checking Tex Ribs. Hope To Wyn and Just Harry collided at the 150m mark. Hounding Me faltered at the 150m mark. Kuzma turned its head and visibly eased several times from the 150m mark to the winning post.
Hounding Me underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and left chest muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Infinity Stone underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Kuzma underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and right pencil muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr R. Ashworth, the trainer of Kuzma regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Kuzma was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Ashworth pleaded guilty to the charge, Kuzma is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
