Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr N. McCullagh, the trainer of Boona Lad regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Boona Lad last raced on 1-Nov-18. Mr McCullagh stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right hock.
Mr L. Carter, trainer of Why Not Cory declared a new weight of 36.8 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Why Not Cory last raced at 35.3 kgs.
A pre race sample was taken from Boona Lad.
Daytona Fernando and Boona Lad collided soon after the start. Pyrenees Classic, Take That Banksy and Daytona Fernando collided soon after the start checking Take That Banksy.
