Steward's Report
Travel Easy was a late scratching at 3.18pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Bombadier King was slow to begin.
Midnight Mick checked off Track Of Time soon after the start. Track Of Time faltered approaching the first turn. Bombadier King and Kurri Kurri collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.
Track Of Time was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left calf and a right thigh injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards subsequently spoke with Ms Angela Langton, the trainer of Track of Time about the performance in this race. After consideration was given to the matter, the Stewards were not satisfied with the performance in this event and as such, Track of Time was placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 71. Connections further advised that Track of Time will be relocated to another racing locality, in an effort to find a more suitable class of race for this greyhound.
