Stagger Out Sam, Thomeli Tash and Quick Transition collided soon after the start. Stagger Out Sam, Kimmela and Millie's Angel collided approaching the first turn. Millie's Angel and Kimmela collided on the first turn, checking Millie's Angel. Stagger Out Sam, Thomeli Tash and Quick Transition collided on the first turn, checking Stagger Out Sam and severely checking Quick Transition which lost considerable ground. Millie's Angel raced wide entering the home straight.
Quick Transition was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right dew claw, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
