Supplementry Repert

A veterinary examination  was conducted on Die Laughing, who was withdrawn by connections from Race 6 at Warrnambool on 14 February 2019. The injury reported by the On Track Veterinarian was consistent with the reason for withdrawal, being a wrist injury.

Origami Angel and Frizzled were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.

Origami Angel checked off Where's Max soon after the start.  La Coconut  checked off Where's Max approaching the first turn.  Rusty Yaala and Marlan Girl collided on the first turn.  Where's Max checked off Rusty Yaala entering the home straight.  Origami Angel and Marlan Girl collided in the home straight.  Origami Angel, Marlan Girl and Rusty Yaala collided approaching the winning post.

This race was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to Addington Harness.

Yeren and Dyna Acacia we quick to begin. 

Dyna Acacia, Yeran and Dyna Eleana collided soon after the start, checking Yeran.  Yeran and Crowdza Rockin' collided approaching the first turn, checking Yeran.  Dyna Eleana and Dyna Acacia collided on the first turn.  Crowdza Rockin' checked off Dyna Acacia on the first turn.  Dyna Eleana and Lektra Swing collided approaching the winning post.

A pre race sample was taken from Millie's Angel.

Stagger Out Sam, Thomeli Tash and Quick Transition collided soon after the start.  Stagger Out Sam, Kimmela and Millie's Angel collided approaching the first turn.  Millie's Angel and Kimmela collided on the first turn, checking Millie's Angel.  Stagger Out Sam, Thomeli Tash and Quick Transition collided on the first turn, checking Stagger Out Sam and severely checking Quick Transition which lost considerable ground.  Millie's Angel raced wide entering the home straight. 

Quick Transition was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the right dew claw, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Wilshire Boy.

Sure To Excite was quick to begin. 

Wilshire Boy, George's Fever and My Word Shirley collided approaching the first turn.  George's Fever, My Word Shirley, Sure To Excite and Counting Pennies collided on the first turn, checking My Word Shirley and Sure To Excite.  George's Fever checked off Counting Pennies on the first turn. George's Fever raced wide in the home turn.

Flying Sam was slow to begin.

Stand Beside Me and Eureka Creek collided soon after the start.  Shannon Allen checked off Midnight Hero soon after the start.  Lektra Flirt and Midnight Hero collided on the first turn, checking Lektra Flirt and Shannon Allen.  Eureka Creek and Shannon Allen collided entering the home straght.

Flying Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abraded left paw pad/webbing injury.  No stand down period was imposed. 

Triple Agent was low to begin. Zipping Oliver was very slow to begin (3L).

Spring Bomber and Kissable collided approaching the first turn.  Spring Bomber raced wide approaching the home turn. Completed raced wide on the home turn.

Spring Bomber was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right foreleg carpal sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sisco Ride was a late scratching at 9.07pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to left foreleg torn nail. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

There was approximately a 1 minute delay to this race due to the late scratching od Sisco Ride.

Sky Wesley and Fast Car Driving collided soon after the start.  Fast Car Driving, It's A Thrill and Sky Wesley collided on the first turn, checking It's A Thrill and Sky Wesley.

A pre race sample was taken from Keeping Busy.

Undenied Access and Flash Fernando were slow to begin. 

Undenied Access, Tessa Allen, Saint West, Cool Coco and Born Jamie collided on the first turn, checking Flash Fernando and severely checking Born Jamie. Keeping Busy tired approaching the fourth turn and collided with Undenied Access, resulting in Saint West and Cool Coco being checked.  Flash Fernando checked off Keeping Busy in the home straight. 

Keeping Busy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Born Jamie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Murphy and Pectoralis collided soon after the start.  Suvla Bay, Dyna Virion and Pectoralis collided soon after the start.  By Your Side checked off Suvla Bay approaching the first turn.  By Your Side checked off Poison Gas on the first turn. 

Mr Corey Grenfell was questioned after significant betting moves and support for Aron Allen was observed by GRV Betting Analysts during the day. Mr Grenfell could not explain the backing, it was not kennel support and he did not back Aron Allen at all. Further, Aron Allen had not trialled publicly and that he had only observed moderate ability since arriving in the kennel. No explanation for the support was forthcoming from connections. The betting markets will be monitored and reviewed by GRV betting analysts.
