Uringa was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right monkey muscle injuries, left and right deltoid injuries and a thoraco-lumbar injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Loverso the representative of the greyhound Bourbski Bar regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Bourbski Bar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury and right deltoid injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Bourbski Bar with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Loverso pleaded guilty to the charge, Bourbski Bar was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Why Not Lola and Why Not Ginger were quick to begin.  Lektra Caution checked off Lylah's Way approaching the first turn.  Head Banger checked off Why Not Lola approaching the first turn checking Lylah's Way and Duce Royal.  Why Not Lola and Why Not Ginger collided several times approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Why Not Ginger.  Dyna Helena checked off Duce Royal entering the back straight.  Why Not Lola and Lylah's Way collided on the third turn.  Head Banger raced wide approaching the home turn.  Duce Royal checked off Why Not Lola approaching the home turn.  Duce Royal and Why Not Lola collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Lektra Caution and Lylah's Way collided entering the home straight.
