Up And About and Quiet Please collided on the first turn.  Aussie Bok Choy and Mr. Fabulous collided on the first turn.  Five Thirty checked off Cherokee Fawn in the back straight.  

Modern Jagger was slow to begin.

Black Dash Three checked off Annabelle Lee soon after the start.  Audacious Grace and Ebony Gem collided soon after the start.  Audacious Grace, Ebony Gem and Fireball Friday collided on the first turn.  Ita Louisa checked off Modern Jagger entering the back straight.  Ita Louisa, Audacious Grace, Ebony Gem and Fireball Friday collided entering the back straight, Ebony Gem pulled up as a result.  Ita Louisa checked off Black Dash Three entering the home straight.  Ita Louisa and Modern Jagger collided in the home straight.  

Ebony Gem was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Moroka Assassin was quick to begin.  Cougar Icon was slow to begin.

Blonde Bella and Coffee Scroll collided soon after the start.  Yuken Pay Me and Kilpatrick collided soon after the start.  Blonde Bella checked off Coffee Scroll approaching the first turn.  Cougar Icon and Coffee Scroll collided approaching the first turn.  Blonde Belle checked off Coffee Scroll on the first turn.  Moroka Assassin and Kilpatrick collided approaching the third turn checking Moroka Assassin.

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Kelly, the trainer of Dyna Gabba regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to prepare the greyhound for racing.  Trainer Mr Kelly was fined the sum of $100 pursuant to GAR 46(2).

Sun Wukong, Lady Bang Bang, Dyna Gabba, Easy Tash, Black Beauty and Tessa Allen collided soon after the start checking Sun Wukong, Lady Bang Bang, Easy Tash and severely checking Dyna Gabba.  Nicky As checked off Tessa Allen approaching the first turn.  Easy Tash checked off Nicky As on the first turn.  Dyna Gabba visibly eased in the front straight and failed to finish.  Easy Tash raced wide on the second turn.  Sun Wukong and Lady Bang Bang collided on the second turn.  Sun Wukong, Black Beauty and Nicky As collided entering the back straight checking Black Beauty and Nicky As.  Sun Wukong and Lady Bang Bang collided on the fourth turn checking Sun Wukong.  

Sun Wukong was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dyna Gabba was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr Kelly, the trainer of the greyhound Dyna Gabba regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the front straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Dyna Gabba with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kelly declined a re-vet and pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Gabba was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Marcus Joy and Velocity Alaina were quick to begin.  Ima Mystery Girl and Looking down were slow to begin.

Molly Coaster and Doused In Mud collided soon after the start.  Kissable and Looking Down collided on the first turn.  Kissable checked off Jessie's Star in the back straight.  Ima Mystery Girl checked off Jessie's Star approaching the third turn and again on the third turn.  Molly Coaster checked off Marcus Joy on the home turn.

Mickie Raven, Especial Shiraz, Celestial Jewel, Sisco Dun and It's A Frenzy collided soon after the start checking Mickie Raven, Especial Shiraz and Sisco Dun.  Another Bling and Lock Pepper collided on the first turn.  Another Bling and Lock Pepper collided in the front straight.  Lock Pepper and Celestial Jewel collided approaching the second turn.  Especial Shiraz galloped on Celestial Jewel approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Mickie Raven checked off Lock Pepper on the third turn.  

Spazzy Blue was a late scratching at 1:10pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration to the right hind paw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Red Queen.

Red Queen was quick to begin.  Scooby Boy was slow to begin.

Scooby Boy and Dewana Express collided on the first turn checking Dewana Express.  Unique Quality and Jimbo's Sox collided approaching the second turn checking Unique Quality, Jimbo's Sox and Scooby Boy.  Joyous Jill and Red Queen collided on third turn.  

So Amazing and Courting collided approaching the first turn.

Busy Bella was quick to begin.  Finniss Vision, Dundee Ace and Special Drop were slow to begin.

Finniss Vision and Special Drop collided approach third turn.  Special Drop marred the running of Dundee Ace entering the home straight severely checking both greyhounds.  Busy Bella and Diamond Bling collided entering the home straight.

Special Drop was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Ms E. Knott and Mr P. Knott trainer and owner of the greyhound Special Drop regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Special Drop with marring. Mr Knott pleaded not guilty to the charge, Special Drop was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Minter Bee Star - the 3rd placegetter of the event.

Stewards spoke to Ms M. Toner, the trainer of Elle Est Bonnie regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Elle Est Bonnie last raced on 6th September 2018. Ms Toner stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season and a right hind sesamoid injury. Ms Toner, also declared a new weight of 29.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Elle Est Bonnie last raced at 31.5kg.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Boone a post race sample was subsequently taken. 

Kid Lavros was slow to begin.

Winlock Newbolt, Boone and Minter Bee Cash collided soon after the start.  Elle Est Bonne checked off Winlock Newbolt on the second turn checking Minter Bee Cash and severely checking Elle Est Bonne.  Kid Lavros and Minter Bee Cash collided on the third turn checking Minter Bee Cash.  Cosmic Ollie and Minter Bee Cash collided approaching the home turn.
