Superior Pal was slow to begin.

Takeel stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.

Spot On Mick, Takeel and Renshaw Avenue collided soon after the start checking Spot On Mick, Takeel, Renshaw Avenue and Keeping Gracie. Jargon Jimmy crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Keeping Gracie and Imperial Jack. Coalville Hunter faltered approaching the 150m mark and lost ground checking Spot On Mick. Jargon Jimmy and Imperial Jack collided several times from approaching the 50m mark to approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Jargon Jimmy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a warning to Mr B. Wellington, the trainer of Jargon Jimmy regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.

Coalville Hunter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist sprain, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Tex Kingdom was slow to begin.

Meehan Pebbles, Daisy Me Diggin', Dan's Hopeful and Fran Keeping collided soon after the start checking Daisy Me Diggin' who stumbled as a result. Fran Keeping and Dan's Hopeful collided at the 50m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Meehan Pebbles - the winner of the event.

Daisy Me Diggin' was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr L. Holmes, the trainer of Let's Go Joe regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Mr A. Costa was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the weight/registration cards were produced for the greyhound Wendy Maria pursuant to GAR 33.

Galway Icon was slow to begin and crossed out soon after the start.

Lady Maximus and All Revved Up collided soon after the start. All Revved Up and Mumma's Bear collided soon after the start checking All Revved Up. Goodbye Goldie and Mumma's Bear collided at the 250m mark checking both greyhounds. Pectoralis and Wendy Maria collided at the 100m mark and again approaching the winning post.

Bloke's Advice was quick to begin.

Kernel Panic and Quarter Mile collided at the 250m mark. Gojek, Kernel Panic and Quarter Mile collided at the 200m mark checking Kernel Panic and Quarter Mile. Gojek and Hot Cruiser collided at the 150m mark. Layback Cruiser and Bloke's Advice collided at the 100m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Layback Cruiser - the winner of the event.

Superior Faith and Anndar Amoree collided soon after the start. Amanda Lee crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Where's Lola, Sedaka and Dam The Man. Dam The Man checked off Amanda Lee at the 300m mark and collided with Sedaka and Where's Lola. How High Jazz and Superior Faith collided at the 300m mark. Anndar Amoree faltered at the 150m mark and lost ground. Sedaka and How High Jazz collided approaching the 50m mark.

Anndar Amoree was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hip injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Love Laughing.

Ima Rebel, Tayla's Banjo and Inter Santina collided soon after the start checking Ima Rebel and Inter Santina. Inter Santina, Weeona Paul and Lucky Paws collided at the 300m mark. Ima Rebel crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Inter Santina, Weeona Paul and Lucky Paws. Onya Prankstar and Tayla's Banjo collided at the 250m mark. Ima Rebel and Lucky Paws collided at the 100m mark. Inter Santina and Why Not Senor collided approaching the winning post checking Inter Santina which stumbled as a result.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Edwards regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Why Not Senor. Stewards directed that Why Not Senor be boxed first in future events.

Girt By Sea and Superior Chase were slow to begin.

Weeona Bont and Bees On Fire collided at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark. High Tale and Weeona Bont collided at the 250m mark. She's My Blast and Weeona Bont collided at the 50m mark. She's My Blast checked off Bees On Fire approaching the winning post.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Superior Sam, engaged in this event, on Saturday 9th February 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Deano's Mojo was slow to begin.

Peter Yap and Superior Sam collided soon after the start. Hungry An' Hollo and Superior Sam collided at the 300m mark.

Sarah Smirnoff was quick to begin.

Completed was slow to begin.

Completed, Tammin and Precious Metal collided soon after the start. Cavernando, Completed, Tammin and Weeona Raph collided at the 250m mark.

Stewards spoke to Ms J. Elliot, the trainer of Meehan Blue regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Meehan Blue last raced on the 26th August 2018. Ms Elliot stated that the greyhound is resuming racing from a left wrist injury. Ms Elliot declared a new weight of 35.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Meehan Blue last raced at 33.6kg.

Just Blacky and Supraspinatus were slow to begin.

Meehan Blue and Superior Bont collided at the 275m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Pocket Aces.

Weeona Jimmy was slow to begin.

Problem Solved and Cullquin Panda collided soon after the start checking Cullquin Panda. Uncatchable checked off All You Got approaching the 150m mark checking Weeona Jimmy and Hail Galo Girl. Weeona Jimmy and Hail Galo Girl collided at the 100m mark. Weeona Jimmy and All You Got collided approaching the winning post.

Uncatchable was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right metatarsals, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Zero Five was a late scratching at 10:42am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a left pencil muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Undetectable went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (5L).

Spud's Mate and Miss Pepperoni collided soon after the start. Agent Osti crossed to the rail at the 200m mark. Porscha's Girl and Shifter Magic collided at the 150m mark.

Miss Pepperoni was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Meeting Comments:

Stewards issued a severe repremand to Mr D. Condon after he removed the incorrect greyhound from the kennel after the last race. ( GAR86) (o).

As Mr Condon had not left the course Stewards determined that a repremand was approppriate given Mr Condon's previous record.
