True was very slow to begin (4L).
Mayhem Storm, Aussie Bok Choy and Belle Express collied soon after the start checking Aussie Bok Choy. Koenigsegg Agera checked off Belle Express soon after the start.
Koenigsegg Agera and Dark Daylight collided soon after the start. Our Harley Quinn checked off Mayhem Storm approaching the first turn. Mayhem Storm and Belle Express collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Mayhem Storm visibly eased and turned its head outwards approaching the home turn and collided with Belle Express severely checking both greyhounds. Dark Daylight raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Mayhem Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to both wrists. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs D Coleman, the representative of the greyhound Mayhem Storm regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Mayhem Storm with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge, Mayhem Storm was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
