Mayhem Storm, Aussie Bok Choy and Belle Express collied soon after the start checking Aussie Bok Choy. Koenigsegg Agera checked off Belle Express soon after the start.

Koenigsegg Agera and Dark Daylight collided soon after the start. Our Harley Quinn checked off Mayhem Storm approaching the first turn. Mayhem Storm and Belle Express collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Mayhem Storm visibly eased and turned its head outwards approaching the home turn and collided with Belle Express severely checking both greyhounds. Dark Daylight raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Mayhem Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to both wrists.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs D Coleman, the representative of the greyhound Mayhem Storm regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Mayhem Storm with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Coleman pleaded guilty to the charge, Mayhem Storm was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

The start of this event was delayed approximately one minute to allow for Sky 1 coverage due to Warrnambool Throughbreds Race 2 running behind schedule.

Happy Rage was quick to begin. Zipping Cisco and Travel Easy were slow to begin.

Cool Rage and Phoebe's Angel collided approaching the first turn checking Cool Rage. Cool Rage and Banyuatis collided approaching the first turn checking Cool Rage. Yaala Eclipse and Phoebe's Angel collided approaching the home turn. Banyuatis and Zipping Cisco collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Banyuatis and Big Cam collided entering the home straight.

Kurri Kurri was quick to begin. Miss Murino and Kid Lavros were slow to begin.

Kurri Kurri and Cougar Icon collided approaching the first turn checking Kurri Kurri, Cougar Icon and Kid Lavros. Fawn Secrets and Miss Murino collided approaching the home turn checking Fawn Secrets. Kid Lavros galloped on the heels of Cougar Icon approaching the home turn checking Cougar Icon.

Cougar Icon was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' to this event in order to view the official video replays after a greyhound ran loose in the car park along the boundary fence to the track prior to the start. The greyhound was captured at the 400 metre boxes by track staff.  After viewing the offical replays and acting on their own observations Stewards were comfortably satisified that no greyhound had their chances materially prejudiced by the incident and as such the 'All Clear' was declared.  Stewards subsequently spoke to licensed person - Mr Joshua Moody who advised that "Goofey Express" had accidentally became loose from the back of his trailer as he was preparing to leave the track. Stewards took no action other than to remind Mr Moody to ensure that greyhounds in his care must be effectively controlled at all times.

Jimbo's Sox and Monkey Mite collided approaching the winning post checking Monkey Mite.

Ace Gone Wild was a late scratching at 2.56pm on the advice of GRV Chief Veterinary Officer - Dr S Karamatic due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr K Ward, regarding the late withdrawal of Ace Gone Wild and noted his explanation.

Disco Lemonade was quick to begin. 

Placid Warrior, Fess Crockett and Sarah Smirnoff collided soon after the start.

Agent Barry was slow to begin.

Completed and Smart Mary collided soon after the start checking Smart Mary. Completed and Limburg Patrick collided on the first turn. Kissable checked off Blackjack Cruise on the first turn checking Smart Mary. Limburg Patrick and Blackjack Cruise collided on the home turn.

Mask, Poison Pen and Angel Of Glory collided soon after the start checking Angel Of Glory. Maximum Bliss and Angel Of Glory colllided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Riverdale Danger and Quen Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Quen Bale. Riverdale Danger and Daytona Fernando collided approaching the home turn. Riverdale Danger galloped on the heels of Mask on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr K Lancaster, the trainer of Just Audrey regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Just Audrey last raced on 16 October 2018. Mr Lancaster stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from being on season.
