An Out of Competition sample was taken from Dyna Monelli, engaged in this event, on 24/10/18 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Dyna Wazza was quick to begin. Soda Flash, Fire And Smoke and Cash Point were slow to begin.
Fire And Smoke and Gateway To Eden collided soon after the start. Oshkosh Uni Chet, Gateway To Eden and Fire And Smoke collided approaching the first turn. Idabelle Bale faltered on the second turn and was galloped on by Soda Flash, checking Fire And Smoke. Idabelle Bale lost ground from this point and pulled up. Soda Flash and Oshkosh Uni Chet collided on the second turn. Dyna Wazza, Azkaban and Cash Point collided on the fourth turn, causing Dyna Wazza to fall. Azkaban and Cash Point collided on the fourth turn.
Idabelle Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hock injury, a 90 day standdown period was imposed.
