Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from El Diamonte and Percy's Curse upon arrival on course, prior to kennelling.
Velocity Whisper was a late scratching at 6.05pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Duke Of Burnley.
Duke Of Burnley was slow to begin. El Diamonte was checked off Kimani on the first turn. Winlock Casper and Kimani collided entering the home straight. Kimani and Duke Of Burnley collided approaching the winning post.
Kimani was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards issued a warning to Ms. J. Imlach the trainer of Kimani regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.
