It's A Thrill, Shanlyn George and Squishy Pea were quick to begin.

Start The Show and Musketeer Oasis collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Shanlyn George and Superior Bont collided on the second turn.  Squishy Pea and Often Imitated collided entering the back straight checking Often Imitated.  Start The Show crossed out on the home turn checking Musketeer Oasis.   Reid Star marred Shanlyn Georgie entering the home straight.

Reid Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury and a laceration to the right front foot, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Darmanin, the representative of the greyhound Reid Star regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Reid Star with marring. Mr Darmanin pleaded guilty to the charge, Reid Star was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

My Victoria stumbled soon after the start.  Ready And Armed, Buckle Up Rose and Another Bling collided soon after the start.  My Victoria and Buckle Up Rose collided on the first turn.  Another Bling, Buckle Up Rose and My Victoria collided on the second turn checking My Victoria which lost ground.  My Victoria raced wide on the home turn.  Arma Rapida checked off Ace Allen in the home straight.

Unmistakable and Pandaken collided soon after the start.  Aston Geisha and Go Commando collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Go Commando and Tezzalenko collided on the first turn.  Pandaken checked off Unmistakable on the first turn checking Pandaken and Pius Thicknesse, Pius Thicknesse raced wide and lost ground as a result.  Unmistakable and Pandaken collided in the back straight.  Aston Geisha checked off Percy's Cruise on the third turn.  Percy's Cruise checked off Aston Geisha approaching the home turn. Tezzalenko checked off Go Commando on the home turn.  Go Commando and Pandaken collided in the home straight. 

Pius Thicknesse was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Placid Warrior and Beckham collided soon after the start.  Perfect Rocky and Callum's Son collided soon after the start.  Callum's Son checked off Perfect Rocky approaching the first turn causing Callum's Son to stumble and fall as a result.  Placid Warrior, Beckham and Dewana Hand collided on the first turn.  My Bro Lewis checked off Beckham on the first turn.  Dewana Hand and Callum's Son collided on the first turn.  Placid Warrior and Beckham collided approaching the second turn.  Fernando's Flare faltered in the back straight and lost ground.  Placid Warrior, Beckham and My Bro Lewis collided on the third turn.  Fernando's Flare, Beckham and Placid Warrior collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Beckham and Dewana Hand collided on the home turn.

Callum's Son was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Johnny Wishbone was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr J. Chircop the trainer of Fernando's Flare left the course before having the greyhound vetted.  Stewards spoke to Mr Chircop and advised him to present the greyhound at the Ballart track tonight for a vet assessment. Stewards fined Mr Chircop $100.00 under GAR 86(p).

Stewards issued a warning to Mr D. Condon, the trainer of Johnny Wishbone regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

Bourbski Bar, Magic Vi and Swift Abbey collided soon after the start.  Magic Vi and Black Zambesi collided approaching the first turn.  I'm Tipping Don, Off The Bit and Bourbski Bar collided on the first turn checking Bourbski Bar.  Swift Abbey raced wide on the second turn.  I'm Tipping Don, Bourbski Bar and Off The Bit collided approaching the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Connor Allen trialled over the 525mtrs from box 3, weight 33.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 7. The time of the trial was 30.56, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2 1/4 lengths. Connor Allen was Cleared.
