Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Archer regarding the direction that the greyhound Rosacky Thunder be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Dr. Shreds was quick to begin.  No Passengers, Mirror Max and Dr. Summer collided on the first turn.  Dr. Shreds, Vienna Gypsy and Pistol collided on the first turn severely checking Vienna Gypsy and Pistol, Vienna Gypsy lost ground as a result causing She's Got Dash to race wide.  No Passengers, Mirror Max and She's Got Dash collided on the first turn checking She's Got Dash.  She's Got Dash was checked off Mirror Max on the home turn.  She's Got Dash was checked off Dr. Summer entering the home straight.  Vienna Gypsy raced wide in the home straight.

Vienna Gypsy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right elbow and left chest muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Velocity Whisper and Paisley were quick to begin.  Cosmic Sole was slow to begin.  Flywheel Strike and Nash Road Betty collided on the first turn checking Nash Road Betty.  Flywheel Strike and Dyna Arrow collided on the first turn checking Dyna Arrow.  Dyna Arrow and Dr. Yanma collided approaching the first turn.  Nash Road Betty galloped on Dyna Arrow on the home turn.

Dyna Drew and Mallee Spring were slow to begin.  Secret Message was checked off Zipping Chaser approaching the first turn.  Ronray Destiny, Mepunga Bonnie and Duke Of Burnley collided approaching the first turn severely checking Ronray Destiny, Secret Message and Mallee Spring causing Secret Message to fall as a result, Ronray Destiny lost considerable ground and subsequently pulled up.  Dyna Drew was checked off Mepunga Bonnie approaching the home turn.

Ronray Destiny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Martinovic after he entered the track without permisson and issued him with a severe reprimand.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Martinovic the representative for Secret Message after he failed to check the clearance to leave course form, which resulted in Mr Martinovic removing Secret Message from the kennels and leaving the course without Stewards permission. Stewards contacted Mr Martinovic who returned to the track after the Club Veterinary Surgeon had left.  Mr. Martinovic was directed to take the greyhound to the Cranbourne meeting for a vet check tomorrow.

Stewards will open an inquiry into the above incident with Mr. Martinovic.

Supplementary Report - Cranbourne 17/10/18:

Handler, Mr P. Martinovic presented the greyhound Secret Message to be vetted at the conclusion of kennelling at Cranbourne 17/10/18 after he left Warragul on 16/10/18 without having the greyhound vetted following the greyhound falling in event 12. Secret Message sustained no apparent injury. After discussions with Mr. Martinovic surrounding the circumstances, Stewards on this occasion issued Mr. Martinovic with a warning for leaving the course without having Secret Message vetted, and without the Stewards permission (GAR 42(2)).
