Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Cunningham, the trainer of Lektra Stomp regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lektra Stomp last raced on 7 June 2018. Mr Cunningham stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a change of kennel and a right hock injury. Mr Cunningham declared a new weight of 32.5 kgs for Lektra Stomp in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lektra Stomp last raced at 34.0 kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Zambora Andy.
Darren Allen and Zambora Andy collided on the first turn checking Antarctic Lass. Cruising Stella and Darren Allen collided on the home turn. Antarctic Lass checked off Zambora Andy on the home turn. Cruising Stella and Antarctic Lass raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Lektra Stomp checked off Manzeene Magic in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
