Black Dash Three crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Millie's Angel, Magic Kenz and Bushranger Boy. Bushranger Boy and Black Dash Three collided at the 250m mark. Millie's Angel galloped on Wayne's Way at the 150m mark. Bushranger Boy crossed to the rail at the 100m mark checking Magic Kenz. Panther Lane checked off Magic Kenz at the 50m mark. Wayne's Way checked off Magic Kenz approaching the winning post.

Brittany's Angel was slow to begin.

Miss Cheekiness and Blond Annie collided soon after the start causing Northern Rocket and Wild Vane to collide. Northern Rocket and Wild Vane collided at the 150m mark causing Wild Vane and Blonde Annie to collide. Miss Cheekiness and Brittany's Angel collided at he 100m mark. Brittany's Angel and David's Way collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Santoro, the trainer of Eltora regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Eltora last raced on 20.04.18. and is returning to racing following injuries to both hocks.

Tomac Buzzard crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Don's Nosey and Eltora. Eltora crossed to the outside at the 100m mark.

A pre race sample was taken from Miss Walt.

Back In Town checked off Miss Walt at the 100m mark.

Cersei was quick to begin.

Spritely Bob and Scooby Boy collided soon after the start. Chum's Special and Cersei collided at the 300m mark checking Bee Rose. Bee Rose faltered at the 150m mark and lost ground. Scooby Boy and Cersei collided at the 100m mark. Chum's Special checked off Mepunga Giant at the 100m mark. Playboy Eddie and Dapper Diesel collided at the 50m mark severely checking Playboy Eddie.

Bee Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that greyhound sustained a laceration to the left stopper pad. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Firefly Nuts went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Challis Sprite, Hogwash and Augustus Dagloop colllided at the 300m mark checking Challis Sprite and causing Don's Just Under and Hogwash to collide. Augustus Dagloop faltered at the 150m mark and subsequently tailed off.

Augustus Dagloop was vetted following the event.  It was reported that greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Love Laughing - the winner of the event.

Mr Swan was a late scratching at 10.09am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J. Donaldson was fined the sum of $100.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Russell, the trainer of It's All Over regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  It's All Over last raced on 24.06.18. and is returning to racing following a change of kennel.

Keep Talking was quick to begin. Amlin Freddie and Zed Merrett collided soon after the start and again at the 150m mark. It's All Over and To The Galo's collided at the 50m mark.

Master Winslow was slow to begin.

Master Winslow and Yogi Mikado collided at the 300m mark. Master Winslow checked off Lethal Levi at the 100m mark. 

A sample was taken from Unexplainable - the winner of the event.

Lanis Morris was slow to begin.

Last Princess and Mallard collided at the 200m mark. Last Princess checked off Mallard at the 100m mark. Precious Metal and Mallard collided several times from the 100m mark to the winning post.

Challis Annie, Anustar and Mon Mekki Kahn collided at the 300m mark.

Aeroplane Hank was slow to begin.

Hodge's Lane and Woofa Combo collided soon after start. Doran's Grove checked off Ryder Sir soon after the start. Woofa Combo, Hodge's Lane, Two Seasons and Go Zippy Go collided at the 250m mark. Go Zippy Go and Ryder Sir collided approaching the winning post.

Shakey Cougar was slow to begin.

Eureka Osti and Agent Osti collided soon after the start. Eureka Osti and Major Gas collided soon after the start. Tusksa and Mepunga Tycoon collided at the 250m mark checking Tusksa. Major Gas crossed in at the 100m mark and collided with Mepunga Tycoon, Shakey Cougar and Renegade. Mepunga Tycoon and Agent Osti collided at the 50m mark.

Haboob was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS

Satisfactory Trial Results - Spring Nugget trialled over the 300m from box 5, weight 30.6kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 17.10, the greyhound won by a margin of 2.5L. Spring Nugget was Cleared.
