Underrated was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Still Single and Liberal Nunnio collided soon after the start. Ace's Fab and Shellbrook collided on the first turn. Liberal Nunnio and Ace's Fab collided on the second turn checking Ace's Fab. Underrated marred Miss Cotton Sox on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Miss Cotton Sox was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Robert Tolson, the trainer of the greyhound Underrated regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight . Acting under GAR 69(1)stewards charged Underrated with marring. Mr Robert Tolson pleaded guilty to the charge, Underrated was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant toGAR 69(2)(b),before any future nomination will be accepted.

Phoebe's Angel was a late scratching at 3.46pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration to the left fore stopper pad. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Still Quick and Thumbs collided soon after the start. Weetbix Jester and Golden Shiraz collided soon after the start checking Weetbix Jester. Weetbix Jester and Tekidanto collided on the first turn. Stewards spoke to the handler of the greyhound Phoebe's Angel, Mr Carmel Frantz and issued him with a warning after he took the incorrect mat during kennelling.

Chill Out Chris was a late scratching at 2:32pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an infection to the left hind toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Due to the late arrival at the boxes this race was moved to Sky 2.

Moneypenny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right dew claw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Militant Mack and Cherokee Shimmer collided approaching the home turn. Son Of Gus and Dum Didee Dum collided approaching the home turn. Militant Mack and Cherokee Shimmer collided entering the home straight. Dum Didee Dum and Clovalley Mansumi collided in the home straight.

Guns Ablazing galloped on the heels of Magic Jet approaching the home turn checking Merc severely checking Magic Jet. Guns Ablazing and Merc collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to handler Mr Jai Willoughby regarding the direction that the greyhound Crook Me Kindly be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Set Point and Onya Prankstar collided soon after the start checking Set Point. My Bro Lewis, Undeniably, Cosmic Moments collided approaching the first turn checking Undeniably and Cosmic Moments. Cosmic Moments and Aston Sultan collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Undeniably clipped the heels of Fabstar on the home turn.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Garry Webb, the trainer of Classy Fernando regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Classy Fernando last raced on 9 February, 2018. Mr Garry Webb stated that the greyhound is resuming racing after a right achilles injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Classy Fernando trialled over the 425m from box 8, weight 33.9kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 23.86, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4 lengths. Classy Fernando was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Blue Sky Riot trialled over the 425m from box 6, weight 28.6kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 23.86, the greyhound won by a margin of 2.25 lengths. Blue Sky Riot was cleared.
