The start of this event was delayed by approximately two minutes due to an issue with the track lighting.
A pre-race sample was taken from Strike Power.
Cash No Bounce was slow to begin. No Secrets and Blue Kodak collided soon sfter the start, checking Blue Kodak. Cash No Bounce and Dyna Jules collided approaching the home turn, checking Dyna Jules. Hot Spuds checked off Dyna Jules approaching the home turn and collided with Little Snitzel as a result. Hot Spuds and Little Snitzel collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Cash No Bounce checked off Strike Power in the home straight.
Cash No Bounce was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hind gracilis and gluteal, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
