Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms R Kenyon, the trainer of Baby Huey regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Baby Huey last raced on 28th April 2018. Ms Kenyon stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.
A pre race sample was taken from Baby Huey.
Succession Plan was slow to begin. Guns Ablazing was quick to begin.
Awesome Shep, Bobby Tokaam and Rido's Ace collided soon after the start checking Bobby Tokaam. Succession Plan and Awesome Shep collided approaching the first turn, checking Awesome Shep. Rockalot and Searching collided approaching the home turn checking Searching which tailed off as a result. Awesome Shep raced wide entering the home straight checking Baby Huey.
Searching was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right quadricep, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
