Black Spring was slow to begin.
Thomeli Skip and Talanjee Minnie collided on the first turn. Oemi Allen and Black Spring collided on the first turn. Talanjee Minnie checked off Silver Cupcake approaching the home turn.
The connections of First Responder were questioned as no person/catcher was in attendance at the catching pen to secure the greyhound at the conclusion of the race. A warning was issued to Ms Tina Womann under GAR 48.
