Major Innings and Appointed collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Typhoon Nelly and Appointed collided approaching the first turn.  Typhoon Nelly checked off Appointed on the first turn. Broken Promise checked off Aston Yoko approaching the second turn checking Limburg Will.  Typhoon Nelly and Fabrebab collided entering the back straight.  Reggie Ryan and Limburg Will collided in the back straight.  Broken Promise tied in the home straight.

Broken Promise was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lucy's Quest and Palace Guard collided soon after the start.  She's For Us and Rocket Jax collided soon after the start.  Palace Guard crossed to the rail making contact with the rail approaching the first turn and stumbled badly as a result.  She's For Us, Rocket Jax and Life Is Ruff collided approaching the first turn checking Rocket Jax and Life Is Ruff.  Lektra Theory and She's For Us collided on the first turn.  Life Is Ruff checked off She's For Us on the first turn causing Life Is Ruff is race wide.  Rocket Jax and Stevie Dee collided approaching the second turn.  Lucy's Quest checked off Rocket Jax on the second turn.  Lucy's Quest and Rocket Jax collided on the third turn.  Life Is Ruff marred Lektra Theory in the home straight.  She's For Us marred Lektra Theory in the home straight.

Palace Guard was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a deep laceration to the left front, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Life Is Ruff was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury, a 5 day stand down was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Economou the representative of the greyhound Life Is Ruff regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Life Is Ruff with marring. Mr Economou pleaded guilty to the charge, Life Is Ruff was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

She's For Us was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Rowchester Flash and Kukudio collided approaching the first turn.  Rowchester Flash, Bro's Little Gem and Hot Finish collided on the first turn causing Kukudio to check off Bro's Little Gem.  Bro's Little Gem, Hot Finish and Lorenza collided entering the front straight.  Kukudio and Faraday collided in the front straight.  Rowchester Flash checked off Star Project entering the front straight.  Faraday, Bro's Little Gem and Hot Finish collided on the second turn checking Hot Finish causing Hot Finish and Loranza to collide.  Loranza checked off Star Project approaching the third turn checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Bro's Little Gem and Star Project collided in the back straight.

Arma Rapida and Come Home collided soon after the start.  Come Home crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Arma Rapida and Agent Barry.  Arma Rapida checked off Agent Barry on the first turn.  Mumma's Meatloaf and Agent Barry collided on the first turn.  Sergei and Real Obsession collided approaching the second turn and again entering the back straight checking Sergei.  Moneypenny checked off Real Obsession approaching the winning post.

Xera Bale was a late scratching at 11:00am due to non-arrival (GAR 31) (Car Breakdown). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms B. Kinder was fined the sum of $100.
