Vladimir Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Wild Angel was kennelled in the swab bay kennels due to ongoing issues with the greyhound damaging kennels in the main kennel block.

Taabinga Flash and Lakeview Isla were quick to begin.  Taabinga Flash and Nicky Neo collided soon after the start.  Nicky Neo and Buzz Rash collided approaching the first turn.  Akina Dee Jay and Dr. Condor collided on the first turn.  Nicky Neo and Buzz Rash collided on the first turn.

Le Doyen was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 11, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards advised Mr. W. Read that prior to any future nominations being accepted for Le Doyen  a veterinary certificate must be produced to the satisfaction of the Stewards stating that at the time of examination, the greyhound is fit to start pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v)

Stewards spoke to Mrs. J. McMahon the trainer of Dr. Shreds regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Dr. Shreds last raced on 29/05/18.  Mrs. McMahon stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a seasonal spell.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Whitford the trainer of Ninetymile Lenny regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ninetymile Lenny last raced on 06/06/18.  Mr. Whitford stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right front toe injury.

Meeting comments:-

Stewards held an inquiry and charged Trainer Mr. Andrew Cracknell pusuant to LR 16.3 in that he failed to notify the Board in writing of his change of address within 3 days of the change.  Mr. Cracknell pleaded guilty to the charge and was found guilty Stewards fined Mr. Cracknell $200, wholly suspended for 12 months.
