Dr. Diamontie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Lady Mikado was a late scratching at 6.06pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Wakefield the representative for Memphis Sky regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Memphis Sky last raced on 09/05/18.  Mr. Wakefield stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right monkey muscle injury.

Rapanui Revival was slow to begin.  Cosmic Chieftain and Winlock Dyno collided soon after the start.  Memphis Sky crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Rapanui Revival.  Lockrod crossed out approaching the home turn checking Winlock Dyno.

Penny Black and Magnus Keroma were slow to begin.  Dark Star and Crocodile Senor collided soon after the start checking Dark Star.  Little Kensi and Tiarna Keeping collided approaching the first turn checking Little Kensi.  Little Kensi and Magnus Keroma collided approaching the first turn checking Little Kensi.  Dark Star galloped on Little Kensi on the first turn severely checking Little Kensi and Dark Star causing Dark Star to fall.  Magnus Keroma and Tiarna Keeping collided on the home turn.

Little Kensi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Dark Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left radius/ulna, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Mustang Sammy and Go Go Guru were slow to begin.  Alberto and Enzo collided soon after the start checking Enzo.  Fully Loaded and Alberto collided on the first turn checking Fully Loaded.  Go Go Guru was checked off Enzo on the home turn checking Crickets Dash.  Mustang Sammy raced wide in the home straight.

Deadline was slow to  begin.  She's Perfect clipped the heels of Jackson's Girl approaching the first turn.  She's Perfect and Pistol collided approaching the home turn checking She's Perfect.  Foxy Molly and Pistol collided entering the home straight.

Mahjong Magic was a late scratching at 6.21pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an elevated temperature.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Wakefield the representative for Ringading Sister regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Ringading Sister last raced on 27/05/18.  Mr. Wakefield stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right monkey muscle injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Dedes the trainer of Okay Pumpkin regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Okay Pumpkin last raced on 03/06/18.  Mr. Dedes stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an  injury to both back muscles.

Duce Royal was slow to begin.  Arashundi went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Knew It and Allen Varmint collided approaching the first turn.  Duce Royal crossed in approaching the first turn checking Make It Happen and severely checking Okay Pumpkin which subsequently tailed off.  Knew It and Arashundi collided approaching the home turn.

Okay Pumpkin was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted 30 minutes later, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right hip joint, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
