Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Pagan Dancer.
Dyna Benny was slow to begin.
Undisputed checked off Dyna Wazza approaching the first turn. Undisputed and Go Seek Heidi collided on the first turn. Pagan Dancer checked off Undisputed on the second turn. Dyna Wazza raced wide in the back straight. Dyna Wazza turned its head outwards towards Pandaken and collided with Pandaken in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Delbridge, the representative of the greyhound Dyna Wazza regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Dyna Wazza was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dyna Wazza with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyan Wazza was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
