Trainer Mr Gavin Gledhill was directed to present the greyhounds Orleans, Emily Skye, Jai Jai Away and Top Alcohol for a Veterinary examination at Shepparton this evening under the provisions of GAR 23 (3) after all these greyhounds were withdrawn from tonight's Warrnambool race meeting by Mr Gledhill. The Shepparton Stewards report will advise of the outcome of these examinations.  

Turbo Tony was quick to begin. Raging Rampant was slow to begin.

Boston Quay, Dyna Jules, Hawkie and Raging Rampant collided approaching the first turn checking Boston Quay and Dyna Jules. Boston Quay checked off Dyna Jules on the first turn. Fortnight raced wide on the home turn.

Samantha Taylor, trainer of Yep Yep declared a new weight of 26.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Yep Yep last raced at 24.7kg.

Articus, Flying Action and Ledgerwood Molly were quick to begin. Cee Me Snoop was slow to begin.

Shultz's A Rebel checked off Mustang Bay on the first turn. Cee Me Snoop checked off Brother Griff on the first turn. Brother Griff and Cee Me Snoop collided in the home straight. Cee Me Snoop checked off Yep Yep in the home straight.

Newtown Angel and Cash No Bounce were slow to begin.

Quen Bale checked off Cool Number soon after the start. Cash No Bounce and Sanya Bay collided approaching the first turn. Cash No Bounce and Cool Number collided on the first turn. Blank Page checked off the heels of Chief Command on the home turn.

Bobby Tokaam was slow to begin.

Bobby Tokaam checked off Clouded Acorn soon after the start. Bobby Tokaam checked off Here Comes Tom approaching the home turn.

The numbers 6-2-6-1 inadvertantly appeared on the semaphore board before being corrected by the judge to 6-2-8-5. All Clear was then notified.

Unwanted Lady, Shoot To Miss and Delta Rhode were quick to begin.

Calcaneal checked off Red Hat Ruby soon after the start. She's For Us checked off Unwanted Lady approaching the first turn. She's For Us and Drop The Leash collided on the first turn checking Drop The Leash and Red Hat Ruby. Red Hat Ruby raced wide approaching the home turn. She's For Us and Shoot To Miss collided on the home turn. 

Red Hat Ruby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left thigh and right quadriceps injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Bella Express was quick to begin.

Lucille Dior and Lektra Brandy collided soon after the start. Die Laughing checked off Lucile Dior on the first turn. Bella Express raced wide on the home turn. Vancouver Star and Lektra Brandy collided several times in the home straight.

Dyna Jenaya was quick to begin. Crimson Vixen, Destini Jaguar and Beaut Deeds were slow out.

Fawn Secrets and Aston Ranza collided soon after the start. Fawn Secrets and Miracles Happen collided on the first turn checking Fawn Secrets and Beaut Deeds. Fawn Secrets raced wide approaching the home turn and collided with Beaut Deeds, Beaut Deeds was checked as a result. Fawn Secrets and Beaut Deeds collided in the home straight.

Redda was slow to begin. 

Mo Daniher and Jeanie's Gem collided soon after the start. Lindy Bop checked off Maximum Jan on the first turn. Ruby's Willow checked off Jeanie's Gem on the first turn. Lindy Bop and Brinza collided approaching the home turn checking Jeanie's Gem and Brinza. Redda and Lindy Bop collided approaching the home turn. Redda, Lindy Bop and Maximum Jan collided entering the home straight.

Winlock Rose was quick to begin.

Another Scenario, Shannah's Gift and Swift Ruby collided soon after the start checking Shannah's Gift and Swift Ruby. Crackerjack Tags checked off Winlock Rose on the home turn. Another Scenario and Shannah's Gift collided in the home straight.

Maximum Bliss and Cooper Dan was quick to begin. 

Trapezius and Undenied Access collided soon after the start. Ball Bearing, Undenied Access and Maximum Bliss collided approaching the first turn checking Ball Bearing, Undenied Access, Maximum Bliss and Fess Crocket. Ball Bearing checked off Cooper Dan on the first turn checking Undenied Access, Maximum Bliss and Fess Crockett. Maximum Bliss raced wide approaching the winning post.

The numbers 2-2-6-4 inaverdently appeared on the semaphore board, before being corrected to 2-3-7-8 by the judge. All Clear was then notified.

Wind Witch was a late scratching at 5.50PM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms D.Carr was fined the sum of $100.

Mordred was very slow to begin. (3L)

Sight Screen faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground from that point. Axel's A Rebel checked off Knuckles Kerley on the first turn. Mordred checked off Cee Me Holly on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Mordred and Cee Me Holly collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Sight Screen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right pectoral muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
