A pre race sample was taken from Fabelite.
Still Single and Flying Rose collided soon after the start. All Inn Tyler and Flying Rose collided approaching the first turn checking All Inn Tyler. Fabelite raced wide approaching the first turn. Bushmans Destiny and Short Leash collided on the first turn checking Bushmans Destiny. Still Single and Flying Rose collided approaching the home turn. Bushmans Destiny lost ground in the home straight. Fabelite raced wide in the home straight. All inn Tyler and Flying Rose collided approaching the winning post.
Bushman's Destiny was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind toes and had cramping and moderate dehydration. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Boots regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Bushmans Destiny. Stewards directed that Bushmans Destiny be boxed first in future events. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards also directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
