Steward's Report
Orleans and Mepunga Giant were slow to begin. Railway Burra, Here Comes Tom and Go Natalie Go collided approaching the first turn, checking Railway Burra. Kraken Copper, Controlling and Atlantic Rose collided on the first turn, checking Kraken Copper. Atlantic Rose clipped the heels of Controlling approaching the home turn, causing Atlantic Rose to fall; checking Mepunga Giant. Railway Burra and Controlling collided entering the home straight, checking Controlling. Mepunga Giant raced wide in the home straight.
Atlantic Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg thigh injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
