Paddy Flash and Lil Black Jess were slow to begin.  Serendipity Star and Refuled collided soon after the start, checking Refueled and Paddy Flash.  Refueled, Paddy Flash and Lil Black Jess collided on the first turn.  Lil Black Jess raced wide approaching the home turn and entering the home straight.  Refueled and Paddy Flash collided entering the home straight, checking Lil Black Jess.  New Sense checked off Sofie Gogolac in the home straight.

Mordred was slow to begin.  Absolute Dream and Avatar Maximus collided soon after the start, checking Avatar Maximus.  Kraken Roger and She Ignites collided on the first turn, checking She Ignites and severely checking Outbreak Girl.  Mordred and Atarah collided in the home straight.  Mordred checked off Yandi in the home straight.

Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' to allow them to view the official footage of the distance of the lure to the leading greyhound on the home turn. After viewing the footage Stewards were not entirely satisfied that the distance of the lure was less than the required distance. Stewards also took into account that no greyhound was materially effected at this point. The 'All Clear' was given on the Judge's numbers 2, 1, 4 and 3. 

Kraken Jane Babe was a late scratching at 3:09 pm, due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Orleans and Mepunga Giant were slow to begin.  Railway Burra, Here Comes Tom and Go Natalie Go collided approaching the first turn, checking Railway Burra.  Kraken Copper, Controlling and Atlantic Rose collided on the first turn, checking Kraken Copper.  Atlantic Rose clipped the heels of Controlling approaching the home turn, causing Atlantic Rose to fall; checking Mepunga Giant.  Railway Burra and Controlling collided entering the home straight, checking Controlling.  Mepunga Giant raced wide in the home straight.

Atlantic Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg thigh injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Avatar Witch was quick to begin.  Aston Atley, Rocket Strike and Typhoon Nelly collided approaching the first turn, checking Typhoon Nelly.  Avatar Witch and Aston Atley collided approaching the home turn, checking Avatar Witch.  Avatar Witch and Typhoon Nelly collided entering the home straight, severely checking Avatar Witch.

Knock The Clock was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Big Sam Marjen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Due to a technical issue with the semaphore board, this event was hand-timed.

Lektra Guiseppe was a late scratching at 12:41 pm, due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Prince Mikado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound appeared to have cramped.  No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Garry Selkrig, the trainer of the greyhound Prince Mikado.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Broulee Miss and Rory Kade were slow to begin.  Bush Blossom, Pyrenees Inferno, Saint Ray and Dream Boulevard collided soon after the start, checking Pyrenees Inferno, Saint Ray and Dream Boulevard.  Rory Kade galloped on Bush Blossom on the first turn, severely checking Bush Blossom which tailed off as a result.  Saint Ray and Broulee Miss collided on the first turn, checking Broulee Miss.  Pyrenees Inferno and Rory Kade collided on the home turn, checking Rory Kade and Saint Ray.

Bush Blossom was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg back muscle injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
