Voluptuous Dot was quick to begin.
Voluptuous Dot and Brindle Ninja collided soon after the start. Voluptuous Dot, Brindle Ninja, Apila Cash and Lektra Damage collided on the first turn, checking Apila Cash. Bolt Power raced wide on the first turn.

Re-Vetted Greyhound - Pilot Pete was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was cleared to race with no apparent injury.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr Garry Condon, the trainer of Lady Spur, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Lady Spur last raced on 10 January 2018. Mr Condon stated that the greyhound had been seasonal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Lady Spur trialled over the 400m from box one, weight 26.7kg, the greyhound was placed third in a field of four. The time of the trial was 23.23, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.75L. Lady Spur was cleared.
