Savanah Sky was quick to begin.  Audacious Grace and It's A Date collided approaching the first turn causing It's A Date to gallop on Audacious Grace;  It's A Date collided with Grande Fratello as a result checking Grande Fratello and It's A Date severely checking Blue Tornado.  Grande Fratello and It's A Date collided several times on the first turn severely checking It's A Date.

Select Minister was slow to begin.  Amlin Teddy and Miss Gippsland collided approaching the first turn.  Colorado checked off Cheeky Shadow approaching the first turn.  Feikuai Donna and Amlin Teddy collided on the first turn causing Amlin Teddy to gallop on Feikuai Donna checking both greyhounds.  Colorado, Miss Gippsland and Select Minister collided on the first turn.  Miss Gippsland and Gee Dalton collided on the first turn.  Cheeky Shadow checked off Amlin Teddy on the first turn checking Gee Dalton and severely checking Cheeky Shadow which raced wide as a result.

A pre-race sample was taken from Sapphire Power.

Hannah Bear was quick to begin.  Tiwi Magic, Undercover Viv and Doble Estandar were slow to begin.  Invictus Tilly crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Sapphire Power.  Doble Estandar checked off Sapphire Power entering the home straight.

Undercover Viv was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Adonis Rose and Flash Frankie were slow to begin.  Hundred, Dr. Mortikye and Duke Of Burnley collided soon after the start.  Adonis Rose, Kiss Me Putu, Hundred and Dr. Mortikye collided on the first turn checking Kiss Me Putu and Hundred.  Duke Of Burnley and Miss Holland collided on the first turn checking Miss Holland.  Miss Holland faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off.  Daintree Dynamo checked off Dr. Mortikye entering the home straight.

Miss Holland was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Dava Supreme was a late scratching at 4:06pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury (split webbing).  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Blocka Boy was slow to begin.  Magic Maya crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Our Delta Rose, Beau Gem and Blocka Boy.  Two Dollar Pots and Rajasthan collided on the first turn.  Beau Gem and Our Delta Rose collided entering the back straight checking Our Delta Rose.  Magic Maya tired approaching the winning post.

Wilburn, Rose Rose, Super Sook and Crickets Dash collided on the first turn checking Wilburn and Rose Rose.  Rose Rose checked off Wilburn approaching the home turn.  Lakeview Maisey raced wide approaching the home turn, on the home turn and in the home straight.  July Allen and Crickets Dash collided in the home straight.

Demand A Panda and Big Flood were slow to begin.  Ice Kool Kaedyn and Mepunga Bonnie collided approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Bonnie.  Ice Kool Kaedyn galloped on Fully Loaded approaching the home turn severely checking Ice Cool Kaedyn, Fully Loaded and Demand A Panda.  Mepunga Bonnie and Fully Loaded collided entering the home straight.

Heard It Before was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a suspected fracture of the left metacarpal and showed evidence of cramp, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Jennings, the trainer of the greyhound Heard It Before.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), stewards  directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
