Speed Star and Pandora's Proof were slow to begin. Sukhoi Su checked off Dyna Bella approaching the first turn. Ashlee Star and Sukhoi Su collided on the first turn checking Sukhoi Su. Sukhoi Su galloped on the heels of Ashlee Star approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Dyna Bella and My Territory collided on the home turn.

Ashlee Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
