Merc was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to its right hind foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Acting on a confirmed phone call from kennel representative  Mrs. L. Delbridge, Winlock Strecker  was a late scratching at 5:29pm due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trainer Mr V.Inguanti explained that  Clouded Acorn had been trialling well since its most recent start  and was confident of a forward showing tonight.

Due to a time change with Sky Racing this race, which was advertised on Fasttrack as starting at 10.47pm, was started at 10.45pm.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Sharp, the trainer of Crump's Legend regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Crump's Legend last raced on 19th April 2018.  Mr. Sharp stated the greyhound was resuming racing following a right back muscle injury.
