Faraday and Carlanna Casey were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Arnie Allen and Crikey Creeky collided approaching the first turn, checking Crikey Creeky. Faraday and Crikey Creeky collided approaching the home turn, checking Crikey Creeky. Gotta Wobble Up, Faraday, Kraken Jane Babe and Shark Tank collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Shark Tank and Faraday; both greyhounds fell as a result.
Shark Tank was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Faraday was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained neck brusing, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
