Steward's Report
Steward spoke to Mr. R. Cameron the trainer of Fiery Miss regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Fiery Miss last raced on 16/04/18. Mr. Cameron stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right monkey muscle injury. Mr. Cameron declared a new weight of 26.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Fiery Miss last raced at 27.2kg.
Steward spoke to Ms. M. McMillan the representative for Zipping Tina regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Zipping Tina last raced on 27/03/18. Ms. McMillan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Pacific Reef and Bossy Caleb.
Perfect Hours was quick to begin. Lektra Damage and Zipping Tina collided on the first turn checking Zipping Tina and Bossy Caleb. Fiery Miss, Lektra Damage and Take Home Sadie collided approaching the home. turn.
Lektra Damage was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
