Angie, Magic Jagger and Run Mon Manny were slow to begin.  Lil' Miss Willow was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Goldie's Nugget and Badenov collided on the first turn.  Angie, Magic Jagger and Run Mon Manny collided on the first turn severely checking Run Mon Manny which subsequently tailed off.  Magic Jagger, Badenov and Lil' Miss Willow collided on the home turn causing Magic Jagger and Lil' Miss Willow to race wide.  Magic Jagger and Badenov collided in the home straight.

Run Mon Manny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Honeysuckle Jim was a late scratching at 2.08pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. W. McMahon was fined the sum of $100.

Mr. T. Whitford the representative for Mt. View Gift declared a new weight of 24.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2),  Mt. View Gift last raced at 25.3kg.

Steward spoke to Ms. S. Northway the trainer of Evie Louise regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Evie Louise last raced on 16/04/18.  Ms. Northway stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a  left hind leg injury.

Steward spoke to Ms. M. McMillan the representative for Zipping Tina regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Zipping Tina last raced on 27/03/18.  Ms. McMillan stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell.
