Steward's Report
Loaded was quick to begin. Taking Aim and Varuchi Pass were slow to begin.
Rumble Drive checked off New Echo on the first turn checking Handpass and Loch Monster which raced wide. Varuchi Pass galloped on Taking Aim on the second turn checking Handpass, Varuchi Pass and severely checking Taking Aim. Rumble Drive Handpass and Loch Monster collided in the back straight checking all three greyhounds, Rumble Drive lost ground as a result. Trixta Rox faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off. Trixta Rox and Handpass collided on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.
Rumble Drive was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right torn back muscle injury, a 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Trixta Rox was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock injury, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
