Venus Allen and Onions O'Reilly were slow to begin. Cindy's Mate checked off Lonnie Mach on the first turn. Stavros checked off Carson County on the home turn, severely checking Stavros and Onions O'Reilly. Carson County and Pyrenees Inferno collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.

Stavros was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
