Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Thompson, the trainer of Big Flood regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Big Flood last raced on 24 February 2018. Ms. Thompson stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a left wrist injury.
Vanda Mick and Fast Car Driving were slow to begin.
Dr. Mortikye and Rock Up Top collided soon after the start checking Dr. Mortikye. Rock Up Top and Big Flood collided approaching the first turn checking Rock Up Top. Black Mumbo crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Poor Old Frank and Fast Car Driving. Dr. Mortikye, Poor Old Frank and Fast Car Driving collided approaching the home turn checking Poor Old Frank and Fast Card Driving.
Samples were taken from Big Flood 1st placegetter and Rock Up Top 2nd placegetter.
