Tooka Half and Startron collided approaching the first turn. Wings For Woody checked off Why Not Cory on the first turn causing Wings For Woody and Rhyan's Return to collide. Pistol and Tooka Half collided on the fisrt turn, checking Tooka Half. Pistol and Our Mojo collided approaching the home turn, checking Our Mojo. Pistol checked off Tooka Half in the home straight.

Rhino Rex was slow to begin.

Jacko Day, Meehan Deano and Dreamy Julian collided approaching the first turn, checking Meehan Deano and Dreamy Julian. Snip Snap, Brindle Ninja and Minnesota Lee collided approaching the first turn, checking Brindle Ninja and Minnesota Lee. Jacko Day and Galloping Leo collided on the first turn, checking Jacko Day. Meehan Deano was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Perrie Lulu clipped the heels of Run Ronnie Run approaching the home turn. Lady Mikado, Run Ronnie Run and Cindeen Jates collided approaching the home turn, checking Run Ronnie Run, Perrie Lulu and Lady Mikado. Emilia Mel and Perrie Lulu collided on the home turn.

Magenta Gold, Master Rico, Zizou Du Kahn and Air Commander were slow to begin. 

Midnight Mystery checked off Master Rico on the first turn, checking Zizou De Kahn. Lady Bullseye and Cairnlea Rosie collided on the first turn. Miss Sweet Pea and Master Rico collided on the second turn, checking Miss Sweet Pea. Midnight Mystery checked off Cairnlea Rosie in the back straight. Miss Sweet Pea checked off Lady Bullseye on the third turn. Master Rico and Lady Bullseye collided on the third turn. Air Commander galloped on the heels of Master Rico approaching the home turn, checking Master Rico, Lady Bullseye, Miss Sweet Pea, Air Commander and Magenta Gold. Midnight Mystery raced wide approaching the home turn. Miss Sweet Pea, Master Rico and Lady Bullseye collided on the home turn. Miss Sweet Pea and Lady Bullseye collided entering the home straight. Tub's Tiger was slow to begin.

Vanishka and Tub's Tiger collided on the first turn; Tub's Tiger lost ground checking Belisarius as a result. Dewana Special and King Colt collided on the home turn, checking King Colt. Vanishka checked off Rocky Gee Rocks entering the home straight. Tub's Tiger raced wide entering the home straight.

Tub's Tiger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. After considering the greyhound's injury, Stewards issued a warning to trainer, Mr Phillip Pollutro regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn.

A sample was taken from My Redeemer- the winner of the event. 

Yogi Mikado was slow to begin. 

Call Me Waylan and Yogi Mikado collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Bomber, Undeniably, Dee Dee Kay and Greysynd Alpha collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Dee Dee Kay and Undeniably. Undeniably and Dee Dee Kay collided on the first turn. Flying Class checked off Scarecrow Max on the first turn. Zipping Bomber and Greysynd Alpha collided on the first turn, checking Greysynd Alpha. Flying Class checked off Scarecrow Max entering the home straight.

Searching, So Fine and Zipping Dash were quick to begin. 

Lottie Biscotti checked off Josie Rumble on the first turn. Aston Marshall and Josie Rumble collided on the first turn. Bossino galloped on Aston Marshall on the home turn, checking Aston Marshall, Bossino and Josie Rumble. Bossino and Josie Rumble collided approaching the winning post.

Scooby Boy was a late scratching at 5:07pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Terrence Erenshaw, the trainer of Flying Cash regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Flying Cash last raced on 27th December, 2017 annd is returing to racing after being on season. 

A pre race sample was taken from Daryl Dixon. 

Alfie's Affair was slow to beign.

Puffin' Stuff crossed to the rails soon after the start and collided with Daryl Dixon; severely checking Puffin' Stuff which stumbled and lost gound. Ear We Come lost ground approaching the home turn. Alfie's Affair raced wide on the home turn. 

Ear We Come was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Gavin Clifton regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn. Mr Clifton stated that the greyhound has been predominantly racing on the straight circuit at Healesville and he felt that Ear We Come performed up to her recent trial times at Warragul. Stewards noted the explanation and took no further action. 

A sample was taken from Flying Cash- winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Ms Carolyn Cook, the trainer of Master Mordecai regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Master Mordecai last raced on 4th Janurary, 2018 and is retruning to racing following a virus. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Hyundai Hawk.

Due to a track light being changed on the first turn, this race was rescheduled to start at 9:06pm. 

Hyundai Hawk was quick to begin.

Riverina Miss crossed to the rails on the first turn, checking Woodleigh Blaze and Wicked Hillary. Master Mordecai and Riverina Miss collided approaching the home turn. Hyundai Hawk eased and failed to pursue the lure on the home turn. Riccarton checked off Riverina Miss entering the home straight; Riccarton stumbled as a result.

Hyundai Hawk was vetted and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triangle muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Margaret Thomas, the trainer of the greyhound Hyundai Hawk regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Hyundai Hawk with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs Thomas pleaded not guilty to the charge, Hyundai Hawk was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 12 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(c), before any future nomination will be accepted
