Apila Cash galloped on the heels of Miami Fernando entering the back straight, checking Apila Cash. Liberty Diamond and Apila Cash collided approaching the second turn. Speedway Lass and Folding Green collided on the home turn.

Champagne Luxe was quick to begin. Pawesome Nelly and Veil Successor collided soon after the start. Paua Te Kuri and Mega Hazel collided on the first turn, checking Mega Hazel. Pawesome Nelly and Our Echo Rose collided approaching the home turn, severely checking both greyhounds, and causing both to fall, resulting in Veil Successor being severely inconvenienced and tailing off.

Veil Successor was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Our Echo Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

After reviewing all available video footage, Stewards considered that Veil Successor suffered significant interference from the fall approaching the home turn and as such a failing to chase charge wasn't appropriate on this occasion.

Aston Halle was quick to begin. Aquiam and Ants In Pants collided soon after the start. Kouta And Cream crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Afire Love, Becket and Elle Gazelle. Wiggle Emma and Kouta And Cream collided on the first turn. Becket stumbled in the back straight and collided with Elle Gazelle, causing Becket to lose considerable ground. Aston Halle checked off Kouta And Cream on the second turn. Aston Halle and Afire Love raced wide on the home turn. Ants In Pants and Kouta And Cream collided on the home turn.

Becket was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left pencil and right hind toe, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Jai Jai Away was quick to begin. Penny Black was slow to begin. So Easy was very slow to begin (10 Lengths), and subsequently took no competitive part in the event. Apila Moola, Striking Gold, Mahjong Rule and Dubai Prince collided soon after the start, checking Striking Gold and Dubai Prince. Malick and Apila Moola collided on the first turn. Striking Gold and Dubai Prince collided on the second turn, checking Striking Gold.

So Easy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards delayed the all clear to review vision of the start of this race.  After reviewing all available video footage Stewards gave the all clear on the numbers 8-2-1-5.

Stewards were of the opinion that So Easy had attempted to turn in the boxes and as such began awkwardly.  Acting under GAR 52(1) So Easy was placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks).

Hyundai Hawk and Tricky Trey collided on the first turn. Lektra Flame galloped on Hyundai Hawk on the first turn, severely checking Lektra Flame and Hyundai Hawk; Hyundai Hawk lost considerable ground as a result. Emily Skye and Gold Odessa collided entering the back straight and again approaching the second turn, checking Emily Sky.

Hyundai Hawk was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Trainer Mr.R.Johnson was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Penny Lane Keats pursuant to GAR 33.

Vienna Gypsy, Ah Sugar Sugar and Dyna Maple collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Maple, Penny Lane Keats, Galloping Leo and Jonny Bravo. Galloping Leo and Trap Queen collided in the back straight. Vienna Gypsy raced wide on the second turn. Ah Sugar Sugar and Vienna Gypsy raced wide on the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs.T.Kennedy-Harris, the trainer of Bro Sam's Hook regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bro Sam's Hook last raced on 19 December 2017. Mrs.Harris stated that the greyhound was resuming from a spell.

Bro Sam's Hook and Philo Bale collided soon after the start. Zipping Nicole and Run Rita Run collided approaching the first turn. Run Rita Run checked off Pinciotti on the first turn, causing Run Rita Run to fall, checking Philo Bale, which raced wide and lost ground as a result. Zipping Nicole and Pinciotti collided on the first turn. Pinciotti checked off Zipping Nicole approaching the second turn. Zipping Nicole faltered in the home straight.

Zipping Nicole was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Run Rita Run was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Allen Gerwen, Prince Mikado and Our Delta Rose collided soon after the start, checking Our Delta Rose. Mizuki and Cheekers collided soon after the start. Mizuki checked off Cheekers approaching the first turn. Runnin' On Fire checked off Popowski approaching the first turn. Runnin' On Fire checked off Our Delta Rose on the first turn. Allen Gerwen and Cheekers collided approaching the second turn. Allen Gerwen checked off Prince Mikado on the second turn, checking Miss Legality. Our Delta Rose and Miss Legality collided on the third turn. Miss Legality checked off Runnin' On Fire approaching the home turn. Prince Mikado raced wide in the home straight. Our Delta Rose and Runnin' On Fire collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Allen Gerwen became partiallly dislodged during the running of the event. 

Call Me Waylan was slow to begin. Elswyk Max, Dr. Luvdisc, Merchant Prince and Cookie Rose collided on the first turn, checking Trim City and Flip, and severely checking Elswyk Max, Dr. Luvdisc and Merchant Prince. Dr. Luvdisc and Trim City collided on the second turn, causing Elswyk Max to check off Dr. Luvdisc. Tubark and Call Me Waylan raced wide approaching the home turn.

Elswyk Max was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Zambora Cash was a late scratching at 5.49pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke with Mrs.T.Morris, kennel representative for Eduardo Rose, regarding the boxing of the greyhound. Mrs.Morris explained that she was handling the greyhound for the first time and didn't anticipate Eduardo Rose's actions once it was placed in the box. Stewards accepted the explanation of Mrs.Morris and took no further action.

Early Express was quick to begin. Trinity Kid, Ninetymile Lenny and Rosacky Blitz collided soon after the start. Our Bravo Rose and Brindle Ninja collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Brindle Ninja. Our Bravo Rose, Ninetymile Lenny, Rosacky Blitz and Oozing Mojo collided on the first turn, checking Ninetymile Lenny, and severely checking Rosacky Blitz and Thunder Of Night, Our Bravo Rose lost balance and raced wide, and Oozing Mojo fell.
