Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Margolis.
Weeona Garf and Totally Bullish were slow to begin.
Aquiam, Diva De Kahn and Margolis collided soon after the start checking Aquiam and Diva De Kahn. Margolis crossed to the inside approaching the first turn checking Diva De Kahn, Aquiam, Spring Shower, Totally Bullish and Tashendo. Tashendo clipped the heels of Margolis on the first turn. Spring Shower checked off Totally Bullish on the first turn. Tashendo clipped the heels of Totally Bullish approaching the home turn causing Tashendo to become unbalanced which checked Diva De Kahn and severely checked Tashendo, causing Aquiam to fall.
Tashendo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
Aquiam was vetted follwoing the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
