Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Collins, kennel representative of Petra Allen regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Petra Allen last raced on 30 August 2017. Mr Collins stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an injury to the right hock.
Crook Me Kindly was slow to begin. Mepunga Tyler, Cibulkova and Crook Me Kindly collided soon after the start, checking Cibulkova. Zipping Captain and Pat Me Again collided soon after the start, checking Pat Me Again. Mepunga Tyler and Zipping Captain collided on the first turn, severely checking Mepunga Tyler. Petra Allen raced wide on the home turn, severely checking Pat Me Again.
