Dyna Lokey raced wide on the home turn, checking Jakesta and Dyna Lokey. South Of Eden and Classy Diva collided entering the home straight, severely checking Classy Diva, which became unbalanced. Kalani Sheldon and Lottie Glenda collided entering the home straight.

Let's Move On was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist and right hind toe, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Jumbo Bale - the winner of the event. 

Don's Gas was a late scratching at 6:16pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an ulcer on the right side of the thorax. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Fowler, the trainer of Henderson, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Henderson last raced on 16 March 2017. Mr. Fowler stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change of kennel and in addition declared a new weight of 32.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Henderson last raced at 34.3kg.

Krazy Buzzard was slow to begin. Umar Allen and Dyna Ianto collided soon after the start. Charlotte Allen, Derivation, Umar Allen and Dyna Ianto collided approaching the first turn, checking Umar Allen. Derivation and Dyna Ianto collided on the first turn. Miss Dangerwood and Derivation collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. 

Krazy Buzzard was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the feet. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs D.O'neill, the trainer of Flash Intention regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Flash Intention last raced on 23 March 2017. Mrs O'neill stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an extended spell. 

Ok Jake, Triple Agent and Flash Intention were slow to begin. Fanta Bale and Fool Proof collided on the first turn, checking Fool Proof. Erica McKenna and Empress Lu collided on the first turn. Erica McKenna checked off the heels of Empress Lu entering the back straight, checking Erica McKenna and Flash Intention. Ok Jake raced wide in the home straight.

Crackerjack Shak was slow to begin. Solo, Lektra Rival and Lunar Shadow collided on the first turn, checking Lektra Rival and Solo. Mr Perfect and Fuel Lever collided on the first turn, checking Fuel Lever. Mr Perfect and Solo collided entering home straight. Crackerjack Shak and Lunar Shadow raced wide in the home straight.

Fuel Lever was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Harsh Miles, Lektra Hutch and Cruisy's Empress were quick to begin. Iconic Chief, Bundarra Magic, Bryden Dora and Cruisy's Empress collided soon after the start. Bryden Dora, Bundarra Magic and Iconic Chief collided approaching the first turn, checking Bryden Dora and Iconic Chief. Jazzy Bale crossed to the outside on the home turn. Jazzy Bale and Lektra Hutch collided entering the home straight.
